Hey, I try to create file with the LaTex (PGF/TikZ) export, but I always get an empty file; what am I doing wrong? I use the Chrome Web Store Version on a Chromebook. My steps are:

  1. Create an example function f(x)=x
  2. Go to File > Download as > PGF/TikZ
  3. Enter File name and click export
  4. Save in a location
Result: Empty 0 kb file txt file. Thanks in advance.

2021.12.08 06:22 mylotwatcher It's OK to change your opinion about the manager.

I wrote a journal entry last night that I thought I would share with my fellow gooners on here:
One of the strangest things I've seen among the online fan base has been the growing disparity between fans that are either supportive of the manager or aren't.
I've found myself getting caught up in this divisiveness and whenever I scour this sub I've find myself occasionally chiding another user for being Arteta Out and they've hit back at me with some snarky reply. For some reason, being a football fan nowadays means that our opinions about the manager either need to be policed or defended vehemently so all you need to do is to plant your flag and die on your hill.
I guess I'm entitled to my opinions and it's great that I can share them on this platform but why do I have to jump down someone else's throat after every game? This manager will either work or he won't, right? Whether I identify with his particular fan club or not, all I have are the games we play and whether we're doing well or not by whatever metric suits my fancy. From there, I can inform my opinions accordingly and reevaluate my stance.
I've come to the realization that maybe all I need to do is watch our games and ask myself a simple question: Are we doing well objectively or not? I find that asking this question every few games is more helpful than clinging to the narrative that the manager MUST work regardless of our form. He actually doesn't. He can work for a period then he moves on, hopefully leaving us better than he found us. Had I asked myself this question this time last year, the answer was a resounding NO. Then after a few more weeks, it was a tentative yes. Now, it's a resounding NO once again.
Should I be OK with this inconsistency especially after we we spent the most amount of money in Europe over the past summer window?
Watching other managers at other clubs getting sacked over the past few weeks has taught me something about how football works: A manager will either be a good fit or not. That fit could be dependent on various factors but ultimately, once they have been backed, the numbers don't lie.
Take a look at Dean Smith at Villa, Daniel Farke at Norwich and Ole at Man U for instance. My key takeaway from these manager's experiences is that they were supported by their respective clubs and eventually, they either worked or they didn't. Backing a manager after removing other factors that may compromise their success is an effective way to evaluate their ability. These managers had spells of success-by whatever definition success is for those clubs-then once they were unable to go any further with a better squad, they moved on. Someone else took over a (hopefully) better squad and moved them along.
The modern manager isn't a monolithic figure that stays for decades anymore. He can work for a period before stepping aside and letting someone else carry on the so-called 'project'. In some ways, this new manager role is more collaborative than it's ever been so why should it be different for Arsenal? Why am I struggling to let go?
I've been supportive of our manager for a while now but these recent results have opened my eyes to one simple truth: Mikel Arteta is not getting the best out of our team. Our attack is so anemic that it's actually impressive how we've managed to string a series of results together. However, this isn't an indictment of the manager's entire tenure here.
We've had good times under him especially when we won the FA cup and Community Shield and the latter half of last season when we recovered from a torrid run (that he was responsible for) and put a decent set of results together. However, we ended up finishing 8th and effectively out of Europe for the first time in 25 years. We were bundled out of the Europa League by our former coach which in some respect, was a testament to Mikel's inferiority to a manager that then went on to win his fourth Europa league title with an arguably poorer squad.
What if Arteta was a better fit than Emery from a cultural standpoint, but the poorer manager from a footballing standpoint?
After all, we have backed him heavily yet we're now sitting at 7th and still playing like a mid-table team. That Everton game was the watershed moment for me. What was so humiliating about our performance was the fact that I couldn't tell the difference between our team and an opponent that had been on an 8 game winless run. We literally lost to ourselves from last year!
For the third time in a row as well!
Let that sink in.
It's OK to admit it. Arteta worked until he didn't just like many other managers. He's not special. It was his first job after all and I shouldn't have expected anything. Whatever we got was either a bonus or simply par for the course. It doesn't make him a fraud, it doesn't mean he's a liar and most importantly, it's not about being right or wrong. It worked. Until it didn't. Time to move on. Simple as.
Frankly, this club has done more than enough to support him through the good and the bad and he has carried us as far as he could. It's time for someone else to take up the mantle. Has he improved our culture? I think so. Has he improved our squad? I believe he has. Is our football better? No.
Do you know who that reminds me of?
Ole Gunnar Solskjær.
Make of that whatever you will.
Having admitted this, I feel like a burden has been lifted off my shoulders because I don't need to cling to hope any longer. I can simply look at what we are and admit our shortcomings. I'm not being a pessimist. I'm being honest. I'd like to be proven wrong but if I took past performances as an indicator of future results, I think that we're going to be 8th again.
This team is far from where it should be, even in its infancy.
To whoever reads this and still wishes Mikel would work out for us, let me leave you with a question to ponder:
Is it fair to expect a rookie manager to compete with 5 of the best managers in the world, all of whom are coaching our rivals?
I don't think it is. I think we've peaked under Mikel and it's time to start looking around for more experience and hopefully, a better fit as well.
TL/DR: We can change our opinions of our manager and that's okay. I just did and it felt cathartic.

2021.12.08 06:22 Yaboykitten Feel weirdly uncomfortable about my therapist sometimes

So I (M19) have been seeing my therapist (Fmid20's?) for about two years now. I see her for trauma related to CSA and grooming, neglect and nearly every trauma under the sun you could think of. But sometimes I just feel so uncomfortable with having a female therapist and not sure what to do with those feelings. The CSA was committed by both men and women but most of the trauma in my life has been perpetrated by women so perhaps that's why I feel uncomfortable and especially with sexual details it also feels weird because I'm gay.
With men I tend to have an easier time opening up in general because men for whatever reason feel somewhat safer, I don't quite know how correctly to put it but I get a general feeling of protection around men more. Another thing that really bothers me is I have DID from said abuse and she does not specialize in DID (Though she does specialize in EMDR and trauma focused care) and so it eels like at times she is confused about what we talk about.
Part of the reason I have to see her aside from just dealing with the stressors of trauma is just other unrelated stuff but mainly I also still live with one of the people who committed those vile things on me and can't quite leave. With that being said sometimes therapy with her feels so jarring, because I know she's understanding, but the way I've related women to trauma and her not knowing quite what to do with DID feels weird at times. Not sure what to do more or less, either how to make myself more comfortable or how to gently try and nudge her with information about DID that she can research on her own time.
