2021.10.21 12:09 AmoreLucky After enabling VMX Intel virtualization, my pc can't boot to the bios.
I have a ROG STRIX B560-A Gaming Wifi motherboard with a 10thgen Intel Core i7 10700K cpu and 16gb of ram installed. I wanted to test the android features in Windows 11 after it was rolled out to beta users, and it needed hardware virtualization turned on in the bios. Now I'm afraid I bricked my cpu and motherboard. I tried flashing the bios and that didn't work at all.

2021.10.21 12:09 streetcarnamedfrank 33[M4F] Work is canceled from the rain, let’s have fun instead…
Does the thought of a tall, fit, scruffy, generally attractive, tattooed, boot wearing, hung, white guy entering your apartment intrigue you?
My job told me to take the day off because we can’t work in the rain, but I already drove into the city. I’m a carpenter, so the work clothes I’m wearing make me look slightly homeless, but I’m freshly showered and looking to put all my energy into having a little fun.

2021.10.21 12:09 ninglydimes If Ubiquiti wants to compete with the big boys, they need stock!
If Ubiquiti wants to compete with the big boys, such as HP, Cisco, and Juniper, to name a few, they need stock! Looking at their switch availability. Of the top 4 recommended best sellers, 50% are out of stock. Then looking through other switches that could work for our requirements also sold out.
Customers need choice and availability. Without it, we go elsewhere.

2021.10.21 12:09 Elealar Ggplot2 function "geom_ribbon" not drawing an envelope (only outlines) and in general, colours of plots looking weird
So I was working on a program to display some data and I like using ggplot. Basically, I've got experimental data, linear model (lm) and predict (as the function) to determine the plot and the confidence interval and then I tried to plot the model in ggplot. Problem is, the colours are a bit weird and the geom_ribbon fails to produce an envelope entirely.
A few weeks ago when I last wrote a geom_ribbon, everything worked fine. I used almost the same code this time and further a friend of mine ran the exact same code on their computer and it drew the envelopes correctly. I could post the code here but I believe that's a red herring since it works on somebody else's installation of R so...I'm asking, are there any settings in R itself that could affect this? Something outside the code that could alter the behaviour of the plot functions that I've perhaps accidentally turned on?
All else failing I'll probably just try a clean reinstall but if there's a less extreme measure I could try, if this sounds familiar to anyone, I'm all ears.
